Baby Feeding Chart (Free PDF Download)
A simple, printable baby feeding chart to help you track your baby’s first foods with confidence.

We know how exciting (and messy) starting solids can be. From that first “eww” expression to happily munching on a juicy piece of watermelon, every meal is a milestone.
That’s why we created this free Baby First Foods Chart. Check off each new food your little one tries, note their reactions, and keep track of your progress.
This handy chart is useful whether you’re following baby-led weaning, spoon-feeding, or a happy mix of both.
And we made it customizable with your child’s name before you download it.
What’s inside:
- Lists 100 first foods including fruits, veggies, proteins & more
- Space to check off what baby has tried and loved — or spat right out, of course
- Allergens clearly marked
- US Letter format, ready to print at home
- Available in color or black & white (printer-friendly)
- Customizable with your baby’s name (“Olivia’s First Foods Checklist”)

What's on the chart?
This chart covers 100 first foods across every food group - vegetables, fruits, proteins, grains, and dairy. Allergens are clearly marked throughout so you always know what you're introducing. Download in color for the fridge, or black and white if you'd rather save ink.
How to use it
Print it out and stick it somewhere you'll actually see it - the fridge door works well. Start checking foods off from your baby's first meals and work through the list gradually over the coming weeks. There's no rush and no set order. Allergens are worth introducing early and one at a time so you can spot any reactions, and there's space next to each food to note how your baby got on.
Getting started with solids
If you're still figuring out when to begin or how to approach those first meals, we have guides that cover the most common questions. A good place to start is our guide on how to start baby-led weaning, or if allergens are on your mind - and they should be - our guide on introducing allergens explains exactly how to approach them without worry.
